Jacob Wiegand is a Midwest-based documentary wedding photographer trained in the fast-paced world of photojournalism. As a photojournalist, Jacob has been trained to work under pressure and be ready to capture images the moment they occur. These skills mean he’ll be ready to capture the beauty of your big day in an authentic way so you can remember those moments for years to come.
In photojournalism, Jacob learned to tell stories with a beginning, middle and end. While Jacob wasn’t present for the start of your love for each other, he focuses on capturing the your wedding day from the time you start getting ready, to the first kiss, to dancing the night away happily ever after.
Jacob has traveled the country photographing news, sports, features and more before settling down in St. Louis. When he isn’t photographing weddings, Jacob is taking pictures as a staff photojournalist for the St. Louis Review newspaper. In his off time, he enjoys hiking, movies and listening to any number of podcasts. These pastimes are often in the company of his wife, Leidy, and their cat, Dragon.
